La belle in Terra Bella, wine tasting and an afternoon of music and sun. OOps sun, chemo changes a lot of stuff and the whine is no shade, no good. Jill King and party were smooth and lovely to listen. Got so hot had to go sit in the winery, not a bad option. Enjoying the coolness, Marti and I started talking. For a chat, cold bottled water and send outside with the promise of an umbrella. Life is good. I had to keep my consumption down to 4... Read More
Whats up, Doc was the wise cracking tag line of bugs bunny. Bugs and Donald Duck and of course, Coyote and the Road Runner were my cartoons of choice. My idea of cartoon fun. Cancer and its constant reminder of the desire to be alive, to be here, to pay attention and to stay alive. I have no good thing to say about cancer and death. Life on the other hand. Chemo number2, not literally: last time was the absolute unknown. I had pamphlets, orientation, etc etc. It was not bad. Now I am having to deal with fear, this time worst, my hair is suppose to clump out now or the third treatment. Warrior woman (thats me when I feel brave has decided at the first clump-shave it all off. I do have volunteers lined up.) It is three oclock in the AM, the steriods in my chemo cocktail make me alert and for some reason chemo... Read More
